Procedure

Install Azure CLI

Install the Azure CLI for your OS from Microsoft's install docs, then verify with az version.

  1. Install Azure CLI per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/instal

    Install Azure CLI per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/install-azure-cli . Windows: winget install --exact --id Microsoft.AzureCLI . macOS: brew install azure-cli (or follow the current Homebrew cask/preview guidance on Microsoft's macOS install page). Linux: follow the apt/dnf/zypper instructions for your distro on that page (elevated as needed).

  2. Open a new terminal after install. Optional: az login to authenticate.
