Procedure

Install Sublime Text

Install Sublime Text via winget, Homebrew, or the official Linux package repositories, then verify with the subl CLI.

  1. Install Sublime Text. Windows: winget install -e --id SublimeHQ.SublimeT

    Install Sublime Text. Windows: winget install -e --id SublimeHQ.SublimeText.4 . macOS: brew install --cask sublime-text (or download from https://www.sublimetext.com/ ). Linux: follow https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/linux_repositories.html to add the official apt/yum/dnf/pacman repo, then install the sublime-text package (elevated privileges as needed).

  2. Open a new terminal so the subl command is on PATH.
