Install Flatpak and enable Flathub on Linux

Install Flatpak if needed, add the Flathub remote, optionally note Snap on Ubuntu, then verify with flatpak --version.

1. Install Flatpak if missing. Ubuntu/Debian (elevated): apt install flatpa

   Install Flatpak if missing. Ubuntu/Debian (elevated): apt install flatpak . Fedora Workstation usually already has Flatpak.

2. Add Flathub per https://flathub.org/setup : flatpak remote-add --if-not-

   Add Flathub per https://flathub.org/setup : flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://dl.flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo . On Ubuntu you may also install snapd via apt if you want Snap apps: apt install snapd

3. flatpak --version

   flatpak --version
